Daniel A. Rodriguez’s team had a paper published in Environmental and Planning B: Urban Analytics and City Science, where they applied AI techniques to inventory marked crosswalks around all transit-oriented stations in the United States from 2007 to 2020. The team also presented at the International Association of China Planners (IACP) annual conference at the end of June a follow-up paper in which they associated longitudinally crosswalk presence with station ridership for 877 stations in the United States. This paper is being considered for publication in Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice.
