About the Webinar:
The objective of this NICR project was to develop a decision matrix to help an operating agency identify possible operational strategies to mitigate or delay the onset of recurrent and non-recurrent congestion and to identify anticipated benefits, enabling technologies, and CAV data that can enhance operations of these strategies. This matrix complements the simulation models of strategies developed by the University of South Florida and provides specific guidance that will benefit agencies in the rapid implementation of strategies in response to potential field condition triggers. The matrix provides infrastructure owner-operators with a selection matrix based on operational conditions and desired mobility goals and objectives by which they can select potential operational strategies to consider for implementation. The objective of the webinar is to introduce the matrix and to gather feedback from potential users to refine the matrix to optimize utilization.
